The reports were commissioned by the migrants' rights non-profit POMOC as part of their Young Migrants in Policy project designed to get students and under-30s more engaged in local politics.
After identifying housing problems as the number one issue disproportionately affecting this demographic, we created a series of reports on the state of the rental sector across key UK cities, starting with Cambridge and Liverpool.
It was important to us to centre the lived experiences of the young migrants we spoke to, while also creating an informative and accessible resource to aid us in pitching our recommendations to local authorities.
