Pitch Display typeface
Pitch Display was a passion project inspired by grid-based letter construction of the 1930s. The semi-condensed high contrast serif is a harsher, geometric take on classic didone type.
The family currently has two fonts – a regular and italic variant. Both contain over 500 glyphs including Greek and Cyrillic characters and all the diacritics you’ll ever need.
I enjoyed infusing the overall rigid geometric structure with softer, old-school humanist nods such as the double-storey binocular 'g' or the 'et' ligature ampersand.
